Over the past few months at Immanuel, we’ve had a few events focused on sharing the Gospel. We’ve tackled Roman Catholicism, Atheism, Children and now Mormons. If it wasn’t for our move to Italy we would have hosted a lot more, but this ended up being the fourth and final event.
A couple of years ago I had the privilege of sharing the Gospel with four Mormon missionaries, who came to our church for a tour. A girl from our college group had befriended some female missionaries and they ended up sending four missionary guys to our church to meet with me. Through that experience, I came to find out about Micah Wilder a former Mormon missionary who was saved on his mission after reading the entire new testament 12 times. The Lord used a baptist pastor to cause Micah to want to read the Bible. He went on to lead his family to Christ. Soon after that Micah and a few friends started Adam’s road. We got to host them for an evening recently, and I thought it would be encouraging to you as well to hear about how the Lord saved them and tips on how to share the gospel with Mormons.
